Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative- Starting in July 2006, the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative presents "Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece," a traveling invitational and juried show of 50 art quilts that will tour the U.S. for three years.  The Initiative will also hold an ongoing sale of small art quilts, and the proceeds of both will benefit Alzheimer's research and cure.  Linda's quilt honors her mother-in-law, Doretta Carlson. This project is the brain child of fellow teacher, Ami Simms.
